Hello all!! We are back safe and sound from our event in PA and let me just tell you that it was AMAZING!!! This was our largest crowd yet and it was definitely held in the most beautiful location (thanks to Julie for finding the Glasbern Inn!!) I'll be back with pictures of our projects in a second post, although Julie and Tammy have posted their projects on their blogs.I confess that the location was so beautiful I almost forgot to take pictures from inside our event room! There was so much to take photos of outside...like the sheep roaming outside our window, cows grazing in a far off pasture, rolling hills, and ponds dotted throughout the landscape. This truly was a picturesque location and if you're even in the Fogelsville area, be sure to visit the Glasbern. The staff was amazing and it was clear that they strive for excellence in customer service. We love them and Julie and I were ready to pick up our families and move right in! LOL!
The first picture is of the house Julie, Charmaine, and I stayed in (along with their two snuggly babies! I got myself some good baby snuggling time this weekend...loved it!!) Our "house" was a two story house with a working fireplace...stunning. I could have stayed a week!
Here is our packed classroom, also complete with a working fireplace and fantastic natural light. We were also able to offer our attendees a special treat...We had our first official exhibitor, Sweet 'n Sassy stamps! The store's owner, Korin Sutherland, is hot stuff and we had such a good time hanging out with her for the weekend. She had a table set up on site and our attendees were able to go shopping!! We're hoping to bring this type of set-up to future events...only with more tables!!
One of our attendees, I wish I knew who this was from (someone tell me!!), gave Julie and I this sweet package of thank you cards. Isn't it adorable? We were touched that someone would bring us a handmade gift...very special! And look at that cute hedgehog image...darling!!
And here is the group of all the teachers from the event, left to right... Korin Sutherland, Tammy, Becky, me, and Julie Masse. In front is Charmaine Ikach and Kathi Rerek.Thank you to all of our amazing instructors who did such a great job with their projects and helped with the event!! And thank you to our amazing attendees!! We was wonderful to be surrounded by such an enthusiastic bunch!! (We even had a few ladies who flew in from MA and had attended the VT event! We love repeats!) We greatly appreciate each and every one of you!!
Check back later this week for photos on all of our amazing projects (and maybe some sheep photos...) :-)
